In partnership with the Governor’s Energy Office, Housing Resources works to improve the energy efficiency of residential structures throughout Colorado. The Weatherization Program makes cost-effective, energy-efficient home improvements available to qualifying low-income residents. Designed to reduce energy usage while improving comfort, weatherization improvements can include the following:
- Insulation in attics and walls
- Furnace replacement
- Furnace safety testing
- Refrigerator replacement
- Sealing air leaks
- Compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFL)
- Energy audit
- Storm windows and doors
- Energy conservation information

Program Guidelines:
Qualification for the program is determined by household income in relation to household size.

If you qualify for the LEAP (Low Income Energy Assistance Program) you automatically income qualify for the Weatherization program.
